Introduction

MIDIDeviceManager (“MDM”) is a MIDI control and management application designed for musicians.

MDM provides MIDI device control, patch library management, scene management, setlists, live performance tools, MIDI monitoring, and SysEx communication features.

We respect your privacy and have designed MDM to operate with minimal collection of information.

Information We Collect

MDM does not require user accounts.

MDM does not collect personal information such as:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Postal address
  • Contact lists
  • Location information

MDM does not create user profiles.

Data Stored on Your Device

MDM stores application data locally on your device, including:

  • Device definitions
  • Patch libraries
  • MIDI mappings
  • Pads
  • Scenes
  • Setlists
  • Application preferences
  • Backup files created by the user

This information remains under the control of the user.

Backups and File Exports

MDM allows users to create backup files and export data.

Users may choose where these files are stored, including:

  • Local device storage
  • iCloud Drive
  • Third-party cloud storage providers
  • External storage devices
  • Email attachments

MDM does not operate its own cloud storage service and does not control where users choose to store exported files.

MIDI Communications

MDM communicates with MIDI devices connected by the user.

MIDI messages exchanged between MDM and connected devices are processed locally on the user’s device.

MIDI communications are not transmitted to MDM servers.

Analytics and Tracking

MDM does not use analytics services to track user behavior.

MDM does not use advertising networks.

MDM does not perform user profiling.

MDM does not track users across applications or websites.

Advertising

MDM contains no advertising.

Internet Connectivity

MDM can operate without an internet connection after installation.

Internet access may be required by Apple services for application download, purchase validation, updates, or restoration of purchases.

These services are provided by Apple and are governed by Apple’s own privacy policies.

Third-Party Services

MDM may interact with operating system services provided by Apple, including:

  • App Store
  • iCloud Drive (if chosen by the user)
  • File sharing services selected by the user

Use of these services is subject to the respective provider’s privacy policies.

Children’s Privacy

MDM is not directed toward children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
